Pitch

Wrong File is a game jam project on WebGL in which the player must fight computer viruses while working.
It won the Brackeys Game Jam 2025.1.

Team size: 5 people
Platform: WebGL
Engine: Unity
Duration: 1 week

What I worked on:

  • Level Design, crafting and balancing the each level, with both the virus battle and work tasks

  • UI/UX Design, ensuring the players understand the mechanics and stay engaged during the entire experience

  • Programming, to integrate some features and expand on what can be done balancing-wise

Problematics solved

  • Making the gameplay understandable, by adjusting tutorials, signs and feedbacks according to playtest results

  • Having a good synergy between the virus battle and the work tasks, by making time management and reflexes central to the gameplay

  • Creating interesting virus battles, by making different archetypes with a unique "mini-games" that also impact work tasks
